Plymouth Barracuda Radiator Upgrade.
One of the main causes of breakdowns with classic cars is caused by issues relating to the cooling system. Upgrading the radiator is one of the main ways to keep your engine cool and trouble free.
We were excited to have this awesome Mopar muscle car in our workshop. The owner had a list of jobs that he wanted undertaken, including updating suspension and brakes, in order to make driving more enjoyable but and reliable. With its 5.2L V8 engine, keeping the beast under the hood cool is a priority.
We fitted a larger aluminium performance radiator from Cold Case Radiators in the US designed specifically for the Mopar A body, as this 1969 model of the Plymouth Barracuda was built on Chrysler’s A-Body platform.
The radiator is an oversized 2-row model with corrugated fins, which allow for better heat transfer and a cooler engine.
